Shanghai is probably one of the world’s best cities for skateboarding, if not the best. It is the financial hub of one of the world’s fastest growing economies, and is constantly changing. The rush to build to accommodate the wealth that the city has generated has resulted in a treasure trove of skate spots. Shanghai is home to a never ending supply of plazas, ledges, manual pads, stairs, and every other kind of spot. Outside of skateboarding, the city is home to countless bars, BBQ joints, and restaurants with food from all over the world.
This site is my effort to document, categorize, and publish information about places that skateboarders living in, or visiting Shanghai would want to know about. To find a spot, click here.
